Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology (RN) Ogden Regional Medical Center PRN
Performs and demonstrates proficiency in providing quality patient care during the peri procedure stay including assessment of safety, comfort, physiological and psychological needs. Works closely with Radiologists, technologist staff, ancillary departments and physicians as care is planned and coordinated. Work is primarily performed at ORMC within the Medical Imaging Department. Service is provided in all imaging modalities. Occasional travel may also be required in order to attend educational meetings /lectures for the betterment of the employee.
PRN Shifts 1 3 per pay period. 8:00am 5:00pm Shift
Does complete and accurate patient admission assessment within the guidelines by the Patient Care Policy on Physical Assessments.
Completes prescribed nursing interventions and procedures within state practice guidelines.
Evaluates and documents each patient's response to medications, interventions, and procedures. Assists in formulation, coordination, and implementation of the patient's Plan of Care based on the assessment of their individual needs.
Safely and accurately administers medication and IV solutions by utilizing e MAR scanning. Acts in accordance with their professional licensure and hospital policy. Maintains patient safety during all aspects of nursing intervention and documents safety measures in patient's medical record.
Responds appropriately to all emergencies, and follows standard precautions for all patients.
Current Utah RN license in good standing (Compact RN When a nurse changes primary state of residence by moving from one compact state to another, the nurse can practice in the new state on the former license for up to 90 days. The 90 days starts when the nurse becomes a resident in the new state).
Current certification as a BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider. Certification in Radiological Nursing encouraged.
